If you want to go out for the day, there is a large range of attractions in the West Penwith area. See also St. Michael's Mount, and the Scilly Isles. There are also many magnificent gardens, museums and ancient sites to visit.

Seal Trips

Grey seals are common off the coast of Cornwall, and they can often be seen near the shore. Seal trips by boat can be taken from Penzance, and on the Scillies you can even go snorkeling with seals.

Scenic flights in light aircraft can be arranged from Land's End Aerodrome, and there are daily flights by Skybus to the Scillies. The Scillies can also be reached by helicopter from Penzance.

The coast of Land's End itself is accessible freely on foot by public rights of way, but the nearest car park is at the nearby theme park, which offers tourist and children's attractions.
