Nutrition
All members of Tuberosum alpinus are herbivorous, feeding solely on
Alpine strawberries and lichen, which latter they greatly dislike. As the strawberry
is in fruit only in late autumn,, whilst lichen remains verdant the year round,
the species tends to a sour outlook on life, with occasional fits of temper.
