Predation
Predators of Tuberosum alpinus are few, but vicious. The carnivorous Alpine
Chamois (Dama cisalpinus) whilst not much larger than its prey, is far more agile,
and stabs Tuberosum alpinus to the heart with sharp horns before eating its
tender flesh. This causes great distress, and, eventually, death, to the specimen.
